Well done Rachel Atherton, good win and i reckon she's due the rainbow stripes at this years World Champs, the shoulder looks fully healed....she's also not far off the points lead despite missing a round!
Some evil rocks on this course, a few of the girls bottomed out their forks and nearly went over the bars.
I'm in sport heaven, got the England footie game on TV, muted so i can hear Warner's commentary of course...beer in hand and the girlie is out playing with her horse....good times!
Much better coverage this time... Mick Hannah'd definately win a chainless race!
'they're going down faster than a BeeGee'...... ๐ฏ
ouch! nico mullaly bad crash
Rob Warner quote of the night so far on Neko Mullaly's big crash "tomorrow his necks gonna feel like its on viagra"
Where's the commentry?
Saaaaaaaaaaaaam Hiiiiiiiillllllllllllllllllllllllllllll.....for now.
Thank you - come on Geeeeeeeeeee

It's going to take more than a hug off his mum to make that feel better
Gwin, crivens that was a bit speedy
How does he do it?
That wasn't too bad eh
How does he do it?
He has God as his co-pilot.
Gwin again....he is changing the sport, its no secret he runs his suspension stiffer than the rest...while the slow-mo shows his rival's suspension bogging down over hits his bike just skips across everything....the others are going to have to follow his lead if they want to challenge him, even huge natural talents like Hill and Hart are seconds behind him.
Still, nice to see Hill doing well in his comeback year....and Hart seems to building some consistency into his riding now, still the best rider to watch....great style.
Atherton and Minaar solid as usual.
....was hoping young Troy Brosnan would give Gwin some problems this season, there's always next year i suppose!
Quality coverage and some amazing riding. Well done to Rachael and Aaron, awesome stuff.
Anyone seen footage of Gee's crash yesterday? Unbelievable that he managed to ride at all.
deviant - Memberits no secret he runs his suspension stiffer than the rest...
FWIW this isn't quite true... There's other riders that run setups as stiff or stiffer, not least Justin Leov. People seem to be latching onto it as an explanation though and I bet there'll be a million groms fitting extra-firm springs ๐
jeez @ both Gee's and the other guy's crashes
one of the girls' crashes in practice/quali didn't sound to pleasant either.

Definitely best world cup of the season so far. Amazing course and lots of camera angles - lots of skill on those jumps.
Danny was on it again, great to see.
Emmeline Ragot is the cutest
After convincing Mrs C to come to Ft. Bill with me, aside from being completely smitten with the whole Syndicate Team, she is now completely bitten by the bug.
Tonight, together, we drank cider and shouted at the tele.
Brilliant. She's now off seeing if we can go to the World Champs next year.
Neko Mullaly...oh.my.oh.my.
Good lass, good times, thanks bikes!
My friend and fellow rider Sam won the U-23 womens XC after a 4th and a 3rd - awesome to see her making it to the top step. One of many. Now working out how we get to the World Champs to surprise her (that's her Dad and me that is)!
I watched the DH and the womens XC. Both brilliant races and really well covered. Gwinn is unstoppable it seems. It's great to see Hill slowly getting back towards the top too. Some of the runs further down the board were amazing too, Bryceland's run looked pinned. Some of the crashes were horrible and it's horrible to see Matti going down again.
I still wish we could see more of the middle sections of the races as they seem to be won and lost in the sections we never see.
Another great race, it's much more enjoyable when Gwin goes last, eh?
Lopes was pretty good as a straight man to Warner on the commentary, I thought. Gave some interesting insights.
So gutted for Mick Hannah, especially as he's on my fantasy team.
Lopes= awesome rider, but having watched the shot of the commentary at the end, Warner drenched in sweat, pupils massively dilated, and Lopes looking at him as though he was an alien - it seemed an interesting dynamic to say the least!!!!
Lopes is too interested in "catching backside" for my liking.
It was Warner who kept talking about riders "pumping the backside" wasn't it? Perhaps a crafty reference to Lopes' book though.
For a first effort I thought Flyin' Brian was pretty damn good.
Lopes is boring and is seemingly obsessed with the fact that clip-less pedals are much better than flats. Wonder what he would have said in the same seat when sam hill was dominating. It's a boring old argument that doesn't need to be repeated over and over again. Also obsessed with pedalling at every opportunity, even though several riders proved that by tucking and saving energy their times through certain sections were equal or in some cases better than those who franticly pedalled.
Great race though, Danny Harts run was awesome! Still don't understand how Gwin put so much time into everyone else in the top section, but the fact he lost a second or so and very nearly came off in the lower half shows that he is a human after all! and he didn't win by that large a margin! Minaar always looks like he's cruising, obviously he's not (as he bested all but one) and that's just his style but I can't help think he's got a good bit left to give!
I watched the race at 1am after getting in from the Chilli peppers gig, great race with some fantastic riding, but no real surprises. The footage just seems to get better and better and with it's so much easier to engage with the series.
Still can't see where Gwin is finding those seconds.
x2 post!

I think lopes may have the answer!

Most of the top ten pedalled the same places as Gwin, looked to me as if Greg Minaar did more pedalling.
