Hi Folks,

Does anyone have any reviews regarding the above Mondraker frame? I'm looking at building one up but struggling to find a magazine / website review and was wondering if anyone has one or has ridden one?

Cheers,

Ed

As I work for Silverfish I'm obviously going to be a trifle biased - however. . .

I love the Mondraker Factor. I got one myself three years ago as my own person bike and I can't bring myself to change it. I could choose from any of the brands we do (Yeti, Cove, Turner, etc) but I just enjoy riding the Factor too much.

I race mine in XC events, 24 hour events, marathons and Gravity enduros too. I even, nearly, took it to do the Mega on too!

Where are you based? We might have a dealer nearby that could help you with a demo?

Going to back Richie up in a way (I sell them on his behalf) the Factor has been a really well received bike. Like all Mondrakers, geometry is pretty radical (it's slack for a 120mm bike) if fun is a priority, you'll love it!

Cheers guys, Richie I'm based in Chester. I think Tweeks Cycles may stock them?

Yeah Tweeks do stock them, alternatively Bike Works in Oswestry is probably the next nearest for you.

Cheers.

Richie, do you know what size frame a large equates to? Is it a 19"?

According to the geo on the Mondraker site, large = 18.5".

Yeah at 6'3" you'll definitely want an XL.

Our Northern Rep is about your height, maybe just a scratch taller, and he uses an XL Mondy.

Cheers.
