yeah, me too.
there's quite a lot of mud.
fun though.
i want to play on the jumps again; the BMX session gave me a youthful boost of stupidity.

I'm not quick and I was in the lakes yesterday. I might just fall asleep at some point on the ride.

I'll not be along. Moved house at the weekend and my bikes are in one giant pile of metal and socks.

For those traveling up from the leafy suburbs of south Manchester, the lovely Mrs B has just managed to get home after 1 hr 40 mins of being sat in traffic. That's 9 miles in 100 minutes....

BBC are reporting TWO accidents. 1 at Jct 11 and 1 at Jct 15 on the M60.

I'll be setting off at 7.40 and will update wittonweavers by text if the traffic prevents me getting there.

Well I had half a mechanical but nothing to shout about. Great route that tonight, really enjoyed it. Although I didn't know about all those jumps toward the end so nearly hit them at a stupid speed.

yeah that was good, that. i actually surprised myself by not being the slowest somehow!
the jumps are the best bit daz, if a little sketchy in the dark.

Never mind all that! Lets cut to the chase here... have they resolved the pie famine in the Church?

Good ride, thanks for leading Harry.

Were there more jumps after the red descent?

Also, I got my t-shirt thanks Binners!

…and that is why, Mr Slim, we lost half the bloody group at the end 😉

I dropped in behind you thinking you were the rear gunner, when in fact you were somewhere up near where the radio operator should be!

This is why we need Binners as he is one of life’s constants.

Normal service will be resumed next week chaps, so all this frightful rear-gunner confusion can be avoided

Well i thought i did a pretty damned good job as rear gunner last night!

Great turn out - 21 i think?! Not bad for a January night!

Thanks for leading us HtS. Oh and i got to have a go on a fatbike as well 🙂

Terrahawk was the actual leader. All I did was steer us through all of the puddles at the end then drop half the group in the middle of a housing estate.

Im going to put some effort in and get out on my bike a few times, and i will make it along to a monday night ride. Philips park would be ideal not far from me.

i apologise for exceeding my own (and HtS's) expectations! To be fair, we got semi lost in the middle of that housing estate whilst looking for the pub anyway.
and i thought i was gonna die at several points from the effort of not being the slowest...

Does anyone record the route on Strava or similar? Just wondering the average ride you lot do to see whether I'm in a fit enough state to attend (I know you SAY you are all slow but I have to be sure 😉 )

I really am slow! I'm not just saying it. I've got loads of witnesses can vouch for it.

Come along on one. Nobody gets dropped on a Monday Night Pub Ride. Not even me. and God knows, I've tried 😀

believe me, we can be SLOW!
they're not massive rides; set off at 8.15pm and back at the pub for 10ish mostly. HtS usually records i think...

It would be good if one day, we could get a decent picture showing 20 odd lights snaking down the sides of a hill. Until then...

I do.

(I cycled out from the city centre, so that has probably increased the average speed)

Come and have a go Chambord, don't forget your beer and crisp money.

Nobody gets dropped... unless they are a ****.

That's my main worry.

If you head out round hollingworth lake next week I'll go for definite - walked around there a few weeks ago and thought it'd be good to ride round there.

I know I've said this before but as soon as I've sorted lights I'm coming out to play.

I was out for c. 6 months with a broken arm and these are the perfect way to get back into riding. Not too fast, but you're with others so you try and push yourself a little - great for getting the fitness back

Cobblers. You're the insane ramblings of an ancient computer sat in a back room at a tax office in Stoke, just like CFH is.

McMoonter doesn't exist either. He's the alter ego of a CNC machine in a German prefabricated house factory.
