Well it's rained pretty much constantly for the last 4 days, a lot of the time in fairly monsoon-esque horizontal fashion. So I'll be be christening my new gore tex winter boots. Every cloud Eh? 🙂 it's gonna be muddy, as it was pretty boggy up on the moors anyway. Hey ho! 🙂

Well... for the 5th day running, it is absolutely hauling it down out there. Drove over the top road this morning and half the moor appears to have been washed down onto it. Its going to be very very wet, and very very boggy.
Might have to re-evaluate the planned route, as the bottom section of intersteller was pretty wet anyway, before the 5 days solid rain.
You know I'd mentioned canoeing as an alternative if this rain continued?

What about around the ressies? 17miles - 2 hours.
That might well be a better option. Or just stay in the pub 🙂
Having just returned from two summer holidays, I haven't mentally prepared myself for getting covered in sh*t yet. Instead I'm going to go for a few pints after work and pretend I'm still on holiday.
Happy to lead an early doors bank holiday ride next week round Tod if anyone fancies. That'll give me time to psyche myself up for the mud and grimness.
