[Closed] Monarch RT3 shock lockdown

Hi Folks,

So I seem to have fallen victim to the RS Monarch failure after 5 rides. Not very impressed having had many reliable years on an old and abused Fox RP2..

The shock will be covered by the warranty as the bikes only a month old, but don't hold much hope for it on replacement. Rather irritating on such an expensive bike purchase!

Neil at Innerleithen reckons most folk just revert to coil shocks, so I wondered if any of you guys out there run a coil and how you get on with rideability both up and down hill.
