Anyone done this at home?? I have found the service instructions on SRAM website and it looks simple enough but I've never serviced an air shock before. How easy is it to do? Any obvious tricky parts???

I did mine yesterday!

Release pressure, undo shaft end from bike then get air can turning before undoing the head end.

Take it off the bike, take out the shaft end mounting kit, clean the shock, then undo the can fully and pull it off the shaft (bit of suction).

On the air can bit, at the shaft end there's the dust seal then a plastic glide ring, an O ring then a thicker split ring, The dust wiper comes off with easily, then I carefully removed the O ring which then allowed the split ring off - the plastic glide ring looked like more trouble than it's worth to get out without damage so I left it in place and cleaned around it. Clean the entire inner body and the O ring at the head end of the can. Bit of lube on all the bits then stick em back in as they were (the thicker split ring needs to be the right way round).

On the shaft assembly there's a spacer/bumper then the usual 2 x split plastic glide rings and square section O ring. They all come off quite easily so do that then clean everything, re-lube and stick em back the way they were. I then whacked a bit of lube around the inside of the can, then a splash in the head end (same as RP2/23s) and screwed it back together. It's less of a fight to push it back together if you make sure it's on minimum gate and rebound settings.

Pretty simple really - the hardest bit was finding the right tool to get the shaft end O-ring out without damaging it or the can.

DISCLAIMER - I haven't ridden it post-service and used float fluid rather than special RS lube, so it's probably going to explode at the first sign of a bump.
