[#6939016]

I have a fair few sets of Bombers from the 90s.

The most recent addition are currently in pieces in the shed being serviced.

They are from 1998/9 based upon their cast mark and I suspect they have never been opened up.

Despite having very little oil left in them the internal and stanchions are like new.

So after years of use and neglect(?) they should be fine once refreshed with new oil and the seals wiped clean.

So what modern forks, if any, are like this?

I'm guessing none?

Only the Pro versions of Manitou forks have cartridge forks so I'm guessing that means the rest are open bath?
