That was a cracker yesterday - thanks to Matt for instigating and to Daz for leading. I was absolutely ravenous when i got home!

Here are a few pictures - i will blog the ride later.

Strava Details (except i'm missing about 3km straight after lunch when i forgot to restart the GPS!)

This is the strava fly-by detail that some of us were talking about yesterday. You have to 'tick' the riders that you want to see, but it lets you see the routes that others were riding in the area at the same time as our ride.

That's not oop North™ there's blue sky and no clag! I'm sure there's a local bylaw forbidding large smiles under such conditions. Your reputation for dour endurance is under threat.

Cheers lads. Really enjoyed that yesterday although I'm shattered. My shoulders and arms are still buggered from trying to keep up with Gaz on Penny Steps. We should definitely do more weekend rides in future. Just got to try and summon up the energy for later as I'm supposed to be going out again. It's a hard life 🙂

yeah, cheers for leading Daz. I'd definitely be up for more weekend rides.

I fully intended to get out on the road bike this morning but a few local road closures for the Manchester Marathon was all the excuse I needed to bin it off 😀

Put a link up to your blog Craig, your pictures tell a great story though. I'm just putting one on our club website, I'll do the same.

haha I enjoyed the banter with you yesterday Barry! You just knew that telling me that i should have a label on me saying "this way up" was always going to be a precursor for a few tumbles of your own!! 😀

How was the video footage? Anything interesting?

I knew someone was to blame for me going over the bars twice. I've not done that all winter. Cheers Baz. 😕
Obviously nothing to do with my lack of skill.

Cheers for leading Daz. I really enjoyed it. Let's just plan for no wind next time.

Oh, I could put up with that wind as long as we get the sun again! I had quite pink legs this morning.

Anyhow, heres my ride report. I included a couple of your photo's Craig, but gave you the credit due.

Sad I missed this, was still rebuilding my bike. Looks excellent, and really lovely photos.

These were the conditions when I ran up the pike last week 😀

And here is my blog post as well.

Its just a load of ramblings that go on for ever and probably took longer to write than it did to ride. But there are some pretty pictures if you cant be bothered with the text.

Feel free to add comments at the bottom of the blog. I can manually delete all the negative ones! 😀

Steve (horridge) will be horrified but Russ (Bregante) will be doing a little jig!

I like your blog Matt - slightly different perspective to mine but good reading!

Good bloggage Craig. Especially liked,

after debating whether sneaky wee’s in the bushes would have a detrimental affect on drinking water quality we decided that they probably fed Yorkshire rather than Lancashire and therefore didn’t really matter.
