Were any plans made?

My back is still stuffed, but I may be able to get out.

Not yet.

Been a while so I'll do one. How about The Summit? I'm currently stricken with man-flu, but will be fine by then.

Man-flu has gone, so if no one has any better ideas....

The Summit, Littleborough, OL15 9QX
8.15pm
Bring money for beer.
Bring climbing legs.

Probably something a bit different this time.

Nope. Not me for a few weeks I'm afraid. I'm in Liverpool until late this week and I'm going into hospital next week

Oh go on then. Forecast looks promising. I'm all out of climbing legs at the moment though, so you might need to wait at the top of the hills for me.

Are climbing legs compulsory? I haven't got any. Very conscious after last weeks debacle where I ****ed up in pretty spectacular fashion!

Not a lot of flat round here I'm afraid, unless you want to do an out and back along the canal to Hebden. Could be a tad boring that though. Route options are either one big climb and one big descent, or 2-3 smaller but steeper ones.

I'm out anyway now. In a bid to outdo Harry on the embarrassing old-blokes-who-should-know-better injuries I've spangled my knee skating yesterday ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

I knew when I saw the picture of roller skates on fb it wouldn't end well. If it's any consolation it probably means the rest of them will now have to do an extra hill ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm not out tonight. It's a bit far for me and I'm up early in the morning. Got some germs that are draining me of energy too, so hills are not sounding appealing.

dazh - Oddly, I think I'll be there. Will spin out from Hebden if you want to meet en route. Boring canal bash out. Probably be SS.

I'll be back next week if it is a flatish ride. I'm in no hurry to pull my back again but I'm going potty and haven't ridden in 6 Weeks.

Greg, I'll be on the canal next to the Masons Arms on Bacup Road at 7.45. If I'm not there keep going and i'll attempt to catch you up. I'll bring a lock (bike security isn't great at the Summit if you have no vehicle).

HtS, if you want flat, then lets pencil in Prestwich for next week.

Bugger, sorry Greg. Did you go to the Summit? I was at the canal for 7.45 and hung around for 5 mins but you weren't there so I assumed you'd got there early and carried on.

Much better visibility in that photo than we actually had for most of it ๐Ÿ˜€

Made all our lights look like petrol station freebies from a distance.
