Any plans?

I'm sat in a rainy carpark in Devon and my bike is in bits 280 miles away.

Hopefully I'll have it up and running for Monday if anyone wants to play out.

We could do Prestwich if nobody has a better suggestion.

It's all rather fallen apart in your absence! I'm game, although a cursory look at the weather forecast suggests you should have stayed on holiday.

Prestwich is ok with me. The forecast is heavy rain on Monday, which means it's certainly going to be dry.

Sod this.

The weather forecast is 100% heavy rain, I’ve got a sore toe and we’ve not even started on the last series of Poldark.

I’m oot.

Localised flooding forecast for this evening. Oh Joy!

I was never in anyway. I've got a little bit of a do on this Saturday that I need to be in one piece for. And with my track record.....

🙂

nope. for various reasons. at the moment, i can't see when i'm going to get out on a bike again, got far too many things going on that need to take precedence and tbh it's getting me down massively.

Probably a good idea. I'm off out on the roadie instead. Got the week off work this week, so of course this weather is probably my fault.

Thanks. 🙄

Got a new transmission on mine yesterday after the comedy chain slipping last time out. When I measured it against the new one the chain had stretched by about 10mm.

Can't say I'm in the mood to subject it to the fine grinding paste that is abundant in Prestwich when it rains.

Prestwich next week. Deffo*. Can't remember the last time I did my local loop.

*Unless I can think of a really good excuse.

Definitely a good call. Went out on the roadie for a couple of hours and haven't been that soaked since I fell in a river. Don't think we've had the worst of it yet either.
