Hi,

Looking at pricing up some used forks for a Scandal 19.5" frame, but don't have the frame at the moment to measure minimum steerer length?

Just wondering if anyone knows it as a few forks I've looked at seem quite short!

Cheers

You'll need the headset and stem stack heights too. And also which Scandal - IIRC there's the straight and tapered head tube versions which could potentially require different length steerers.

V2 Scandal with the Tapered headset, no sure on stack height but top is near zero!

Without knowing the stack of the headset and stem you can't make a decision.

FWIW, my Lurcher in 21" with a smoothie headset (cups sit outside the frame by very approx 1cm each end), 35mm stack stem and 1cm of spacers fits perfectly on a 194mm steerer.

About 20cm minimum , to give yourself a little flexibility on bar height.
