I got one of the cheap miniDV's for my Birthday and just got round to testing it, quite impressed with the initial tests (unedited)
I was tried it mounted to the headtube, but the angle was not right and it obviously wasn't secure enough as it was fairly distorted. Just have to figure out how best to mount it to my helmet for some more tests.

i think you need to address your front brake hose routing.
