[Closed] Might have gone a bit far with this... (balance bike content)

I picked up a much loved and well used balance bike from a local Facebook group one the winter, as my daughters birthday wasn't for a few months I couldn't resit a bit of polishing, painting, custom graphics and raid of the spares bin prior to handing it over.

She turned 2 last week and, as expected, shown little to no interest in it so far ๐Ÿ™‚

Tres cool. I remember spraying up my (then) little lad's bike so it looked like a mini replica of the '93 Kona Kileaua I used to race.

I do like that but can't help thinking that you spent exponentially way more time on it than it will ever be used for. However, nice garden.

I like that!

She is more likely to ride it if "it is like daddies" probably

Probably right, though enjoyable to do and only took an afternoon of pottering in the shed. Local bodyshop did the painting as favour when the right colour cars came in to be sprayed, I knocked the graphics out at work one lunchtime.

Lawn was mown especially for STW, hope you lot appreciate it ๐Ÿ˜‰

Cheers, I did run it passed Ed before I started and he couldn't have been more helpful. Top bloke and can't recommend the bikes enough.

Yes, Kokua/Likeabike Jumper I think.

Lawn looks good but needs some moss shifting. Stump does indeed need grinding, it's on the list!

Superb. FWIW we bought a balance bike for my 2yo and it wasn't until he hit 3 that all of a sudden we couldn't get him off it.
Patience!

I've seen similar on retrobike but don't think they went as far as you with the rim decals and bar stem etc.
