Lets be honest, most people that reguarly visits this site will look forward to the Wednesday Midweek Minimovies and on the the Friday, Fresh Good Fridays!

So, what is our favourite movie? I have to admit, they can't be too long! if they're repetitive, I will generally skip to the next.

I'd say one of my favourite videos recently has to be the UK Bike Skills Blogs by Tony Doyle. Such an easy guy to listen to and always has something interesting to talk about (I'd love to have a beer with the guy, no doubt he'out talk me after a few)!

Anyway, so what is our favourite movie? Me, I'm with all honesty norrmally quite biast to anything with an Orange Five in, but thats not to say it makes a good movie!

I really don't know what my favorite movie is, I've seen so many which are equally god as one another, albeit very different. The following link is an example of the sort of vid I quite enjoy seeing pop up from time to time:

<- You've got to love the sound of that Pro 2 Hub!

I know vids such as MacAskills will generally be the most popular choice for obvious reasons, but lets have a few examples of individual favourites from you guys. This does not include any non biking, skateboard, yoga, charity, etc. Just a genuine suggestion of what an exceptional short Mini Movie means to you.

Cheers,

Ben.

Look forward to watching your selections.

As much as I like some of the Danny MacAskill type videos, I thought this one was pretty cool and a good tribute from one friend to another.

For me the novelty of watching MTB vids has worn off leaving me bored with most of them. That's me though. I admit to enjoying the more extreme end of the spectrum though (watching not doing!)

Weirdly I tend to avoid the 'some pro guy mtbing in a spectacular location'/'some guy doing massive jumps' etc vids as I don't really relate to them at all.

I generally just watch the homegrown vids or some of the local XC race clips as they tend to make me want to go out and ride.

BUCS XC 2011? @ Moelfre? loads of people falling off

I liked the one with the northshore trail clinging to the side of a cliffside above a ravine in austria somewhere. Though maybe the soundtrack makes me remember it
I think I marked the valley its in on a european road map, not sure why, Id never be able to ride it if I went there

The ones of the lakes/alps/scotland. Were they called pretty sweet?
Of those the one that was made up of photos every half a second or so I think I watched quite a few times, just trying to work out where they all (lakes ones mostly) were. Ive been on a couple of great hike-a-bike rides on the back of seeign those

Loads more. I cant rmeember them right now

Yep, Jedi's video blogs are great (my favourite of them is number 8 - a little more riding than normal, good camera angles and for some reason, just a different feel to the others.), always good to see a new one of those. I like the sweary Northener videos too - they've a real feel good factor to them what with the obvious camaraderie shown.

To be honest though, I'll watch most videos - I take two things from them: a sense of the enjoyment others get from doing a sport I love doing too and secondly I'm watching how they ride some of the stuff they're riding to see if I can pick anything up.

Dawson -cheers for posting that up, love these vids, i prefer watching these to the big high budget movies as i can relate to them more as it's the kind of riding featured that i love to do (not that i'm anywhere near the same level).
Nice to see mtb cut's Stu Thomson at the very end in front of the camera cleaning the techie climb in a Danny Mac stylee.
