Going up to Scotland (ae) and was wondering what the insect situation is as was in the forest if dean yesterday ang legs got bitten a lot!

I hope this hot weather doesn't encourage them too much before May. Really looking forward to a month of Highlands in May and too many midges will send me running for the borders.

There are midges out and about but don't be put off.

The only time you notice them is if standing about or if slow on a climb.

Any wind and its not a problem. Never has put me off yet.
