[Closed] Mabie trail closures

I rode it last week and there were one or two diversions in place but they did not appear substantial. I don't know the trail well, so it's possible they were bigger than I thought, but it seemed like they were just a couple of shortish sections - nothing that would really impact on your ride.

All the timber harvesting work has finished, there is a fair bit of timber lying at the roadside and timber lorries are in and out every now and then but thats the worst you'll encounter!

There are 2 very small diversions on the red route, the first is at post 46 (Heavens Gate) and its closed due to damage to the trail caused by the felling. The diversion simply takes you along the forest road then down the shared blue/green singletrack and rejoins the red route just before The Elevator. There is a small section diverted on the Elevator as well, only about 150m due to windblown trees causing fairly large holes in the trail.
