I'm aiming to do some bikepacking trips in the Mid Wales area and was looking for recommendations for good wild camping spots.

I can certainly recommend some to avoid!
Corris Rugby Pitch in the rain isn't great
Shed behind the pub in FFair Rhos wasn't bad, apart from the rats
Slept in the woods on Mynydd Bychan in January once, that was quite nice
Some nice views to wake up to NE from there at Glaslyn
I would go an ask on the Bear Bones forum tbh

Drop me a PM. Publicly listing wild camping spots ain't the best idea.
Also, as above, ask on the BB forums or have a look at the trip reports there, particularly the WRT related ones.
