I'm looking for metal only water bottle for the bike - no plastic. Has anyone found anything like this?

The Sigg one comes close, but I think it's got a plastic lid

I've used an Elite Syssa stainless steel bottle for a few years now. It's been very durable, water from it tastes untainted, and the pressure equalising system works really well. Unlike the aluminium ones, theres no plastic lining on the inside either.

Elite Mia, all steel construction with just a silicon seal in the lid.

Kleen Kanteen have the option on a steel or steel and wood cap. Theses are screw on caps though, the sipping ones are plastic. I'm not sure whether you will need a non standard bottle cage too.

I've tried looking for these so many times and never found the Elite ones. They look great and well priced... not many places that ship to Oz for sensible money and can't find them here but will track some down.

One got the Elite from Decathlon, it’s great, no plastic taste.

You can use the normal Sigg screw-on lid for their water bottles. - in fact the silicon mouth piece fits inside one so that you can replace it.

I have one of these and whilst it's very nice even this has a little plastic/silicon seal on the cap the make it watertight. Like the Mia.

It's also not ideal for bottle cages.

Lovely 'office bottle' though.
