Massive link for me to members area at the top of the forum this morning- oooh, secret members area, perhaps the much teased premium forum is in there?
It's not- disappointing😜
But there is an archive of the magazine routes, with gpx files promised! I have a terrible sense of direction and a GPS has made my rides much less irritating. In a not looking at two mountains, looking at os map and compass and still being unable to find the trail I'm supposed to be on!
The only route recently I'd be able to get to is an off piste Cannock ride. But there is no gpx or map.
Are they all getting maps and gpx? Do some of the ones I didn't look at have them? Are they there on a desktop?
It should be gpx or maps, I think I'll just leave it as no god!
It would be nice if you could filter the reviews by type as well. I'm looking for a new helmet but have to wade through them all currently.
I noticed the lack of gpx files on some routes too. However, it does say there will be hundreds of routes and currently there are only about 20, so I would imagine it is a work in progress. Keep up the good work peeps
Is it the ‘Komoot classic rides’ section? If so I can access that even when not logged-in, and pretty sure it’s been there for a while in the Magazine menu?
Or am I missing something? More route guides are always handy!
I really like the idea of the members area GPX download. I'm sure it's developing.
I'd love to see it expanded where possible (and I realise that this may be going forwards only) to all routes in the mag.
So if I see a great pic, or like the article I can do the ride, or at least have the ability to add it to the list of rides I'd like to do but never will 🙂.

I really hope that we'll get all 130 tides. Ideally with a map index. That would be a hook to keep me subscribed

While you are talking to god, can I pray for big map of where the rides are. If I'm off to nothe wales, an area I've never ridden other than trail center and Snowdon, some natural riding routes locations would be great.
I had the first version of the vertibrate graphics dark peak book. With out a map of where the rides were , it was always tricky to work out how to get there. Their second generation white peak has a map at the front with where the rides are, and is much easier to use because of it.
We are converting all our route guides as I type. It's going to take some time but we have someone working on it exclusively. There are links in the top menu under 'magazine' that currently take you to our downloads area where there are a lot of GPX files already.
The search/category function for the reviews is on its way too.
