Thanks people glad you like it!

I'm afraid I didn't man up and finish the race. There was still the equivalent of 3 x Fort William WC DH tracks to get to the bottom. Not near as rough I must admit, but still a long way down. Never mind, there is always next year!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

Great vid.

The finger made me giggle! It was like take the glove and then yeah.... that's a bit bent!

Good effort though.

Nice film. You've shown the sections that, I think, a lot of people don't realise are in the race. Kudos for trying to carry on. The last time I did it I finished with 3 snapped spokes and no air in my forks. It's the hardest thing and the best thing I've ever done.

I dislocated my knee in a similar spot in the qualifiers last year. Lost about 3 or 4 mins while I was screaming like hell. One I'd got it back in, i decided to roll to the bottom of the quali as I didn't like the number of people whizzing past. Straight in the med tent. And then to hospital. Missed out on race day ๐Ÿ™

Only just got back to normal as I'd broke sone bone off in there too. Seemed like you were doing ok there too!

Dave

That is a really excellent video. Very well put together and I really enjoyed watching it. It must be amazing to really start a ride so high up, what an experience it must have been. Unbelievable.

I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone. The views on Pic Blanc are breathtaking, and what a setting to ride your bike through. Nice bit of rocky never ending singletrack after the glacier too!
