I need to ask a favour to help me verify that the frame I have here is the stated size (there are no size labels).
If anyone is close to their bike now, could you run a tape measure from the top of the BB shell to the top of the seat tube in a straight line?
Or from the front of the seat tube to the back of the head tube in a straight line?
Ta.
Sizes on the Nukeproof site if you don't already have them

Thanks, but measuring from the stated geometry has been inconclusive.
Google and find pictures of megas in the sizes that you think it could be, and compare with the frame in question.
The top tube/seat tube junction changes significantly depending on the frame size, with a much longer connecting member on the larger sizes.
Good idea, still a bit inconclusive though - the gap seems different sizes on different pics.
If anyone's got a medium then the same measurements would be just as useful.
For reference, it says the wheelsize and frame size on the inside of the front shock mount.
Unfortunately not all retailers check this before sending them out.
๐
My large is 435mm top BB to top seat tube and 545 front seat to back head.
Have you looked on the geometry geeks website?
edit. realise you've already checked the online geometry-ignore.
My large is 435mm top BB to top seat tube and 545 front seat to back head.
Thanks for doing this, although I'd already got the bad news by then.

Been sold the wrong size?
Gutted if a second hand purchase? ๐
Too small?
Sent me a medium, should've been a large. Hopefully getting it sorted.
Anyone looking for a cheap medium frame?
I was hoping that it was an X Large......
Sorry to disappoint.
๐
how cheap ๐
It might be too late now, but message me if seriously interested.
Surely if the bike shop made the mistake they either swap the frame or refund you if they don't have a large and you buy it somewhere else ๐
Shop is abroad and is taking frame back, but selling it on in UK could have been a win-win.
Another question for Mega 290 owners...
What fork offset are you riding and how's it working out for you?
