yes yes i know it was a gift so i get it every month...(have done for 2 years now so stw please make it easy for those cheap mag deals to sell so i can get a subscription) anyhow i digress, in it they had a feature of all htese ace trails they rode in 48hrs or so, now they banged on about how ace this trail in exmoor was etc etc and at the end of the feature do they tell youwhere it is..? Do They Fark..!! wtf is the point of telling people its ace and then not letting you know where it is ffs..? or do i have 2 pages stuck together and have just missed it? and no not that kind of stuck together 🙄

Hawkcombe I reckon. Thought frankly these tonnes of ace stuff around Porlock and Horner.

Yeah its the Hawcombe descent (from Hawkcombe Head down into Porlock). It is ace.

cheers i'll have my local exmoor guide show me when im up there next, had a nice but tiring ride up there last time with some really nice stuff but nowt better than what ive ridden on the quantox...

poor reporting though i think not to include some sort of guide/route info..

Your comparison with the Q's is a good one. But hey, it's MBR. They probably thought it was illegal it's so good. Not steep, just long long long and interesting.

too busy enjoying it to take a picture i'm afraid.

I love Exmoor. Its the Quantocks big brother - same genes but on a bigger scale.
