Struggling to get a balance between psi and rebound etc.....any tips?
Did you have your forks locked out when I rode it yesterday? I know you're heavier than me but it didn't move front or rear
So, what are they attached to?
Let's have a picture ๐

Bit of a longshot, but have you tried the manufacturers settings for your weight?
as i said before in your previous thread, tst2 is an average-at-best damper, you will struggle to get it working well, then it will hydrolock.
if you're fat liek wot i am (i.e. over 13 stone), the standard spring + air preload doesn't work very well as you need to run loads of air which makes small bump performance rubbish.
if you can get the right coil, that will help a lot as you can run less preload.
You can then sort the tst2 damper with the shim stack upgrade (the ports are already there, just blanked with washers), or replacing it with the rc3 cartridge (expensive, unless you find one in a broken fork on ebay)
I was quoted 200 for the RC3 upgrade....fork cost 280......what do you think?
Manufacturer guide only gives me 2/3s travel at best. Drop more and the forks dive like crazy
Right coil? If its a cheap/effective solution then shimstacks Ill get windwave to post me one...
What about a softer spring but more compression damping?
Don't get me wrong, that frame is one of the nicest feeling / fit I've ever tried, I felt instantly at home on it & when you have the suspension set up sorted it'll be one hell of a bike
Agree. I decided to keep it by making it 'unsaleable' then tune it....
Thanks Renton!
