Anyone seen the above for sale in a reliable online retailer?
Can find the 2.5 DH jobbies at too much cash, but the 2.35?

They discontinued them, I think. Beaver was meant to replace them.

Hmmm.... doesn't look very like the old Swampy to me. Looks more like an old specialised cross country tyre.
Shame. Was a good tyre.

Thanks for the info anyway

Lard.

I'm basically a bot in these threads, but, Conti Baron- like a swampthing, but better at pretty much everything. Not quite as tough sidewalls, and more expensive, are the downsides.

To counterpoint the Conti Baron (not that its a bad tyre), how about a schwalbe muddy mary?

I haven't tried either of those, but I really love my DH casing swampthing.

Pretty sure they were discontinued a few years ago. I just managed to get the last few from CRC when they had them in stock. A totally underrated tyre in my opinion. I tend to fit them to my bike about now and leave them on until well into spring. They're slower rolling than some, but it's just resistance training in my mind.

Having to run a cut down Wet scream 2.2 this winter as I only have 1 left and the Wife's nicked it for her bike.
