I'm lead to believe the Shorty is for muddy conditions?

My new (second hand) bike has them on already, all be it backwards 😎

I'm usually a high roller rear, minion front kind of guy. Will shorties ruin my next big bike weekend (FoD and black mountains) or turn me away from my trusted combo.

Bags of grip, but they are not a fast tyre.

Yes, very good. Saved my bacon more times than I care to think 😆 But there's a tradeoff on hard stuff obviously compared to a minion.

Take the back one off, stick a DHR2 on and you'll be good to go.
