Throughout the tyre range of each manufacture is the protection the same? So for instance the EXO on an Ardent race the same as EXO on a plain Ardent?
Also anyone had experiences of ardent race and x-king in both protection guises? is the protection on the x-king more durable?

Got an Ardent Exo on the back of the hardtail and a Continental Trailking Protection on the front. The Conti is the tougher (and heavier) tyre.

I have never had an issue with continental protection series so I'll probably try them again.
