Hi guys, looking at a bike that has Maxle lite on the front. Thinking about punctures - do they release the wheel as quick as a normal QR or are they a TOTAL nightmare like earlier bolt through wheels ? Cheers

nah, they're great. I love mine, more front end stiffness and still dead easy to take out/install the wheel

They're as fast, if not faster than a regular QR. Especially if the QR fork has lawyer tabs

Quicker and easier to refit and remove a maxle wheel than a regular QR, as you don't need to adjust the tension.

Mine is great, just remember to grease the maxle, other wise it takes a lot longer and is much harder toi remove ๐Ÿ˜ณ
