Looking at a pair of the alpine's on CRC.....are they sized accurately or is it a next size up to your usual jobby in a similar vein to Shimano? One review on there seems to suggest so but just wanted to check with the masses. Ta

They're accurately sized. I've got some Alpines & ordered exactly what I would normally take & they fit me 'normally'. (Wide feet though)

Switchbacks and one size up, as opposed to Shimano at two sizes up.

I have a pair of alpine XL's that are only just big enough with thick socks. I went up one euro size.

I have a pair of XLs and I take a 44 in every other shoe I have and that's what I got and they fit perfect. Not had to wear thicker socks with them yet but going by the fit I can't see that being a problem.
