Hi,
Can anyone explain mavic rim designations to me, eg 121, 321, 117 etc.
What are they designed for xc, dh or whatever.
Don't know what to buy for an upcoming all mountain sturdy hardtail build!
Help!

Have you checked out the [url= http://www.mavic.com/en/product/rims/mountain-bike/rims ]Mavic Website[/url]? The rim descriptions are quite good on it.

First number relates to position in the range, 1 being lowest. Second two numbers relate to the rim width in mm.
