Mavic ID 360 freehub issues

Hi, anyone had one of these start to slip without warning? It's a ratchet system and looks OK, cleaned it up and replaced bearings while I'm at it but still slippy under any real pressure.
Is it likely to be just the spring thats not pushing the ratchets together or the whole lot need replacing. Only got 1000 miles on the wheel and previous experience of mavic has always been that stuff is strong and lasts ages.
TIA for any advice

I had one of these for a couple of years and never had an issue with slipping but it did become slightly draggy over time. I was using dt special grease so I don't think that was the issue. It may have been the seal creating too much friction.

If yours is in warranty I'd contact mavic but if not I'd be buying replacement internals.

I'd contact Mavic anyway, found them to be extremely helpful and fast responding.

I've had to contact them twice recently (both wheel related), and they either pointed me in the right direction (I lost an endcap, that of course I found as soon as a replacement was ordered), and more recently issues with a microspline ID360 free hub.

Not he same as your issue, which sounds frustrating as heck!

@jonnyseven

I don't suppose you ever resolved this? My CX race was over before it started today as my freehub was slipping during warmup. ID360 system. Little to no warning. I didn't even realise it was the DT swiss style ratchet, I thought it was pawls.

Only 18 months old. Bit reluctant to throw (more) good money at them if they don't have any longevity.

Can you put DT Swiss internals in it as a replacement?

In a previous existence, I solved it for a customer with new spring and ratchets.

New ratchets about £35 should fix it if you want to keep the wheels and they are not under warranty

I sorted it with new ratchets and spring set from Biking Barn.  I suspect that I really only needed a new spring but since I'd stripped and reassembled the hub and axle with new bearings figured it might as well all be new.  Back to perfect as before.  I phoned them first to make sure I was getting the right part, they were really helpful.  Kept the old ratchet as you can just buy the springs separately.
