Anyone got a Rockrider XC900S?

So I've got a Decathlon Rockrider XC900S full sus, with the grip shift style lock out.

Trouble is, it seems that when the fork is locked out, the rear shock is unlocked. And when the fork is unlocked, the rear shock is locked.
Both fork and shock rely on cable tension (taught) to be active yet when I dismantle the gripshift lock out, it seems the cable come in from opposite directions, so only one cable at a time can be in tension.

Anyone got one of these who could confirm how the cables should run? Or whether decathlon have cocked up on this?

Sounds like one of the cables has been fitted the wrong way round.

Is it a SRAM gripshift lockout, or one of their own proprietary things? If the SRAM one then the instructions are here - https://www.sram.com/en/service/models/rm-tloc-a1 - should be super simple to fix yourself.

If one of their own then I'd just take it back to the store and get them to sort.

It's a proprietary Decathlon/Rockrider lever. I've been engaging with their tech department but from what they have just sent me, it doesn't look like any of the manuals deal with the lock out.

And with the cover off the lock out lever, it pulls the cables in opposite directions. So only one cable at a time is taught but they both need to be taught.

I might be underestimating the mechanics that work in Decathlon, but having never seen this bike in store for sale and their online tech support not seeming (yet?) to have the full suite of technical documents to outline the correct set up, I am doubtful they will be faniliar enough with it that they can sort it. (any more than I can when I've been building and maintaining my own bikes for 30 years). I could be wrong though....
