Putting a 10 speed cassette on an old Mavic wheel which has an 8/9 speed hub.
I know it can be done if I put a spacer on before the cassette, any idea where I can get one?

But that is 10sp to 8/9. Is that actually the right one?

IIRC one spacer does the job for all cassettes, I believe (and I may be wrong), the actual hub is the same size, its just the mavic hubs need a spacer)

Im pretty sure that the actual total width of a 10spd MTB cassette is the same as a 9spd MTB cassette.
So yes, spacer required.
