Anyone with experience of these forks, are they worth considering??
Got a Whyte 19 Team frame(med)in need of some bounce at the front end.

The uninformed lot will be along soon to tell you how flexi and useless there are etc..
But the informed lot will tell you how good they are, easy to maintain, service tweek, custom tune etc.. Oh and they are stiff where they need to be too.
Good Fork, imE
i hadsome on a gary fisher bike about 3 yearsago and they were great - as sheldona says
if i could find some 2nd hand ones and a gary fisher cake 1 dlx frame i would build the bike up again
Just got some, s/hand off here. Dropped them onto the front of my spec stumpy fsr and have to say they are well sweet, they track way better than the fox's I had on it.
Work really well, dead easy to service and endless tuning options.
They take a little fettling to get set up but its pretty easy (lots of info on the Mav website) and worth the time.

I have a set on my trance and I love em they are everything Sheldona says.
I also have a set of Revalations on my Cotic
Neither fork is better or worse than the other
Dibbs of this forum has 4 Whytes with them on including a Ti19 and he is very happy with them
I like mine, would buy again. A doddle to service but needs a little TLC to get the damping set up right (unless you're a 9st race snake).
Don't let the hub put you off, i run a proII with a specific adapter by hope.
They are great, had them on my ht, also got duc's on my full sus, currently have carbon rigids on the ht and may go back to some sc's.
echo all the positives above. I love mine. Sideways cycles are the place to by the maverick 24/7 hub.
Seems as though I have made a good choice!! Just bought some 2nd hand off fleabay with a front wheel!! At a bargain price as well!! Fitting them tonight riding tomorrow night!! Fettling them on Wednesday probably end up in my LBS by the weekend knowing my luck with tinkering!!
Thanks all
