Good evening all, I have some Marzocchi mx pro eta forks from 04 which were serviced about 6 months ago but not long after I noticed some play in them. When I hold the crown with one hand and the arch with the other and push and pull there is some movement... is this normal? Its not a lot just a few mm probably. I replaced the forks with some revs as I wanted something lighter but have thought about sticking these on my singlespeed. Also does anyone know if these can be reduced in height from 120mm to 100mm ish. Cheers.

I would imagine the bushings are slightly worn. A small amount of play is acceptable but its hard to judge whats ok and whats not jsut by chatting on STW.
I'd say ride them and see how it goes, if you start to notice them get worse then go to your LBS for advice. They should also be able to replace the bushings for you if you cant do it yourself
