I'm thinking of getting a cheap set of 160mm forks for my Heckler for an upcoming Alpine trip, and have seen these little fellas for 150 quid (new).

Now I appreciate they won't be a patch on a set of fox 36s, but how would they compare with something like my current air sprung 150 Sektors.

Anyone on here had any experience of these, are they ok and a bargain at this price or am I advised to stay clear and try to find a cheap 2nd hand pair?

i have a set of these on my orange 5. i paid 350 quid for them and i am well pleased at that price. really smooth. track well, nice and stiff. some people on here say 160mm is too much for a 5, but i find them fine for all types of riding. should be great on a heckler.

They'll have pretty basic marzocchi damping with only rebound adjustment. You can play about with oil weights to speed them up/slow them down but thats it. I imagine they'll have air preload aswell. For £150 they'll be alrite though.
