as per title, dont really want to shell out for 2011,and was wondering if the 2010 range are as good,as think i read some of the lowers on the 2010 have 2009 printed on them.
cheers.
I've got a set of '10 44 Micro Ti QR15's and they're excellent.
Haven't looked that closely to see what's on the lowers though
When did they switch back to open-bath damping? I know '08 was the disastrous cartridge damper year, but did they switch back straight away for 09 or was it not until 2010?
Blower: Wouldn't be worrying too much about the lowers, it was the dampers and especially the ATA travel adjusters that were the issue, I think.
they could well have 2009 on them as 2010 manufacturing will have started in 2009 & it's probably a manufacturing date for internal reference.
2010 model year prob used lowers etc made in 2009 but are identical to 2011 stuff. Have a look at windwave site, marz have a 3 yr product cycle now with the new reliable redesigned ranges launching in 2010. So if you can find a reduced 2010 go for it-I was lucky enough to get a dirt cheap 55rc3ti from wiggle, but unlucky enough to break my arm before I could fit and ride em ๐ฏ
Mates 6 week old 55s failed on him last weekend - lost rebound damping, waiting to hear from warrenty dept.
Trailseeker - what forks were they, and what year - do you happen to know?
