I haven't watched any racing since the tour.
Can someone tell me what happened that led to that emotional clip?

@bonzodog - As far as I can tell; he hasn't got a team for next season and had just heard there was a chance that the rest of the delayed classics might be cancelled - meaning it might have been his last race through no choice of his own.
