Last time I promise 🙂 Any owners of the Marin Team Marin 2023? Nice looking hardtail for £950. How compliant is the frame? Looking for a XC hardtail for long UK mixed riding. I would swap out the Judy (120mm) fork for a Reba/SID. Any idea on weigh? can't find any weights, I imagine it's not that light in standard set up.

I've a 2017 Nail Trail.

That's a similar looking frame (albeit with a seatbelt strut) and geometry.

With wider tyres I don't think frame compliance is that much of a deal. That said, it rides 'firmly' but very sprightly, low wheel weight and overall lighter than many bikes.

Apart from a duff cheap bottom bracket and the famous Shimano brake micro leaks mine has been faultless and has been ridden really hard at times. It's great fun, a nice balanced and light ride.

Just found the large is 13.45kgs... that's pretty porky! could lose a fair bit by swapping out the Judy (2340gms), almost 800gms could be lost there fairly easily.
