I have a pair of the above forks (2008 Elite TPC) which are supposed to have 130mm travel, but I'm definitely not getting that amount. The stanchions are much shorter than other 130mm forks I've compared them with. They're also not going through all the travel they do have, so in real terms I'm probably getting less than 100mm. Have tried pumping the air preload right up but this didn't do anything. Anybody had any experience of this or can shed some light on it? Cheers.

I've got some Minutes on my 29er and find that they run at much lower pressure than the other forks that I've owned (175psi instead of 275psi that i had in my 2008 Revelations) and when pressured too high I wasn't getting all of the travel out of them, its then just a case of playing with the Absolute damping knob at the top of the right hand leg to set the stiffness.

Don't know if this is of any use to you or if its the correct way of doing it but it has worked for me.

Contrastingly, I find my 2008 Nixons require a little more pressure than my pikes.

I would have to run them ridiculously too plush to get full travel from them.
