£10 for an hour on the track, including bike hire. Few quid more if you need to hire shoes. bike hire is usually £9, so this is a bit of a deal!

My track bike is currently hanging in the cellar with a baby enforced break from the merry-go-round of the boards.

You're better off hiring one if their bikes for a taster. If you turn up with yours and you're not sure if it's suitable or not they'll give it a fairly thorough going over before they let it on the track, best use theirs.
