I've got a training session to do with a client next week in Malton, so will be driving over from Manchester. Thinking of putting the bike in the car too as I'll hopefully be finished by lunchtime.
So, any recommendations of where to ride over that way (or somewhere on route)?

+1. Easiest option is probably Dalby Forest
Dalby is the obvious suggestion, how about Sutton Bank as less-convenient alternative?
(or, if you're more a 'big views and mud' kinda rider, then there are a few shit bridleways to mope around on)

The North York Moors does have good riding. But from my walking last week many Bridleways seemed very muddy
