When i was in kandahar a while back i built up a single speed to ride around the airfield. bit flat but could crank up some speed before you got to the shit pond.

Me too. In KDH. Those hills look like they could reveal some classic biking. Sadky the mine fields would make it more of a challenge than desired.

im now going back in the forces (crap job on civvy street at mo) hopfully be in the raf reg in the next 3 months porberly meet you out there il bring some helmet cam footage of thetford on dvd out for ya knowing my luck il proberly be going straight on tour.

keep safe mate and dont be a hero so you come home safe and able to ride no one will think less of you for taking cover and keeping your head down.
