Why would Shimano build an expensive lever then put a crap bit of plastic in as what is effectively a spacer? Watching neighbour adjust the front shifter on a 105 hydraulic groupset when crunch and two little bits of plastic fall out. Still shifts but the lever throw is huge. Finding the right one not proving easy.
