I've had an MJ-808 £50 light for 18 months with no issues - delivery was about a month, so best get in early now the nights are drawing in 😉

some people in the UK are doing the same lights now, a bit more expensive, but more convenient if you have any problems I suppose.

chers liftman 😉
dawson, what kind of battery life are you getting and do you think the 1600 lumen one would be worth the extra 25 quid?

I have an mj872, used for commuting on a very dark commute. It is excellent, very bright and a least a couple of weeks use in the evenings. When it fades though it drops off like an F1 Pirelli tyre.

I use it in a mixture of High and Low mode, and easily get 2.5hrs. Its my first light so haven't got anything to compare it to.

I don't know how accurate their lumen claims are, but mine has been ample for using twice a week during winter months in local woodland trails

Ditto all the above,I have never felt the need for more lights.
My helmet light only gets used on the way to the dirt now.
