Hi,

After a visit to the pub on a Christmas night ride I left my Magicshine light on for 2 days! Battery is now very flat. It is the new type with the LCD gauge which is totally blank. I think the circuit in the battery holder has shut down as the voltage has gone too low.

How can I resurrect the battery? Can I remove the cells and charge them in a better charger or can I buy new cells?

Thanks

Tried the magic shine charger and no red light came on, so I thought that maybe the charger cannot cope with a very flat battery.

Tried charger again last night, but it seems to have blown the 1A fuse in my shaver adapter plug. Put a larger fuse in and the charger went bang!

It could all be related, maybe charger failed when presented with overly flat battery.

Anyone had this problem?
Can I buy a better charger?
I will try Smudge if no joy here.

Thanks
