Following some water damage to the battery pack for my DX / Magic Shine light, the battery cells have died. I was thinking of replacing the cells themselves but I hear it's not advisable to try and solder to Li-ion batteries as you'll kill the cells with the heat. Anyone any experience of this ?

I bought a battery from this guy, no probs. Not got the same QC as smudge etc, just depends on the coin available.
