A friend has offered me a pair of Crossmax SX (26") wheels but the rear has a QR axle & I need 12x135 Malle fittings
I know the White SX's used an interchangeable adapter system but these are the slightly older grey ones (2012 I think)
Do they use the same system? And are they still available from Mavic?
All help appreciated

You just pull the qr adaptors out and they are ready for 135x12
I have same wheels, they're excellent

Make sure the spoke nipples are not seized into the rim. If they are and you snap a spoke it's very very costly for a new rim and spokes. Also check the tabs where the disks bolt onto haven't cracked.
They are great wheels but no way would I buy another set of mavics with proprietary parts.
