Whilst out riding today had a thought if it would be possible to have a bike with every bit made in England?

Yes, entirely possible. Many, many parts would need to be bespoke/made for the project, however, as no one in the UK makes some of the parts you would need.

Those high power white LED lights could be a bit tricky. You'd need to start by making your own semiconductor fab, probably the thick end of a few billion dollars....

But I guess you could get by with carbide lights instead.

Reynolds tubing ,Williams chainset, Renolds chain ,Dunlop steel rims .BSA airlite hubs,GB brakes, Brooks saddle GB stem and I think bars.Chater Lea pedals .I think it is possible with old kit ?
