Jnr FD is playing football in Macclesfield in the next month so I figured I would go for a ride in Macclesfield Forest.Â
Im struggling to find any pub type accommodation on a Tuesday evening though. At this rate im driving home Tuesday evening 2hrs to  enjoy Wednesday morning Manchester rush hour traffic’s on the Wednesday 🙄

There's a big Travelodge (or it might be a Premier Inn) right by Macc station, and it's walking distance from a number of good pubs, most notably The Castle.
It's rideable to the forest, or just drive out there with your bike and park at Trentabank car park
Yep it's a Travelodge. The Castle is excellent and there are loads of other great little bars in Macc.

Well, I'm not sure what happened there...
Couple of Premier inns around, one is on the silk road in Tytherington and the other is on Congleton road.
