The saddle is gopping, but apart from that, I can't get this out of my head. Don't know why because it's not like my riding is up to snuff for this monster (Reign X2):

You're right about that saddle. Looks like some one at giant has taken a really ugly saddle, and put it on that bike. Then beaten the saddle mercilessly with a hammer.

It's probably best you don't get one. Your guide dog's lead will get tangled up in the spokes.

Hard to believe but the 2nd bike pictured looks even worse!

It look ok if all the gold crap was replaced with black bits though.

It's a Fi'zi:k Zeak saddle with 7mm Manganese rails, Custom for Giant.

What were they thinking?

Reign X's aren't good looking bikes...

But that's part of the appeal!

They're very much function over form, and function wise... Well... They more than make up for their questionable looks! I've got one of the older ones (probably even more questionable looks than the newer ones) but it rides soooooo nicely. The new ones are pretty much the same, only lighter!

Nicely put Mboy - ride one + you will like.
Anyone for Norco? now they make some nice looking DH frames.

I think it looks great but maybe I'm biased. I have the Trance X which I wasn't too keen on the looks to start with but the Reign looks much better and I'm sure it would be awesome to ride.

The complete bikes really do seem to look gopping (though the saddle does seem to have a lot to do with it)

Its wierd because the frame only looks quite good on its own:

I also have a TranceX so I'm acclimatised to swoopy hydroformed "tubes".

I had a blast on the original one at cannock, even with 36's that were seized solid from all the jet washing it was unbelievably good, just wanted to jump and drop off anything!
